Job Duties

This position provides management, coordination and implementation of all assessment and accreditation responsibilities for the School of Nursing.  With multiple programs that require state and national licensure regulations and accreditation, this position oversees the complex assessment and evaluation of data for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP), and Integrative Health and Wellness Studies programs (IHW).

This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position with benefits. Job Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required: Master’s degree in nursing, public health, education, administration, or health related field required.

Required: At least three years of relevant experience with accreditation and regulatory survey process, development, and follow up of corrective action plans and two years of experience in Quality Improvement, or educational leadership experience

Preferred: Doctoral degree.

Or a combination of equivalent education and/or experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Effective ability to use and learn computers, technology, software, and applications at level of sophistication required for the duties of the position, including, without limitation, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), the internet, and computerized maintenance management systems.

Knowledge of principles of statistics.

Ability to maintain accurate records.

Strong ability to work collaboratively, accomplish organizational goals, communicate clearly, and act proactively.

Competence with and commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural humility, and ability to be an effective partner with students, faculty, staff, and University community members of diverse backgrounds.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion.

Ability to consistently handle and follow through with multiple projects and assignments and meet deadlines.

Strong orientation towards taking ownership of projects and assignments and being proactive with projects, assignments, and process improvements.

Strong orientation towards continued learning and applying learning in the work setting.

Ability to work independently and in team settings.

Ability to receive constructive supervisory direction.

Ability to exercise excellent judgment.

Ability to establish effective working relationships, professional rapport, and effectively accomplish work within a University setting that includes a wide array of individuals, groups, policies, and processes.
