Job Duties

Waynesburg University is seeking applicants for the position of Institutional Research and Data Analyst.  This is a full-time, benefits eligible, position.  Bachelor’s degree in quantitative disciplines such as Business Administration, Public Policy, Statistics, Educational Research, or a related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.  Three years professional experience of which one year must be in institutional research related area.  Incumbent is expected to independently manage day-to-day administration of data and perform analysis, forecasting, and modeling. Identifies, collects, maintains, and analyses data from various sources as well as effectively communicates analysis for academic planning, program review, student success and resource allocation.  Experience in using SPSS, SAS, Excel/Pivot Tables or other comparable statistical analysis program for reporting and decision support.  Knowledge of programming in SAS or SPSS desired.  Considerable knowledge of applied statistical analysis, advanced multivariate statistical techniques and research design methodologies.  Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University’s Mission and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, relationships and the mentoring of students.
