Job Duties

Reporting to the Senior Vice Chancellor, the Executive Director for Strategic Analytics & Campus Planning provides leadership and strategic analysis in the development, oversight and integration of decision-making support at Rutgers University-Camden.  S/he is a member of the Senior Vice Chancellor's leadership team.  This position works collaboratively with senior leadership to support academic, enrollment management, and student success goals across the campus by harnessing data-centric modeling and reporting efforts.  S/he develops, adopts, and/or improves technology to streamline business processes and practices, maximize efficiency, and optimize outcome deliverables.  This position is responsible for the collection and analysis of key performance indicators, data-informed strategic planning efforts, and the development and delivery of critical information analyses.

The individual in this position must be a skilled team builder with demonstrated experience working across functional boundaries.  S/he must be highly detail-oriented problem-solver and possess the ability to communicate the results of quantitative analyses to multiple constituents with various levels of data acumen. 

Job Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience in statistical modelling and the development of intelligent information for business use.  S/he must be detailed oriented, highly organized, proactive and able to assimilate information quickly and possess the ability to communicate data analysis to multiple constituents with various levels of data acumen.  Candidates must possess strong analytical skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.  Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple constituents.  

Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral degree preferred, with at least ten years of experience working in a collegiate environment; experience managing and leading teams. Experience developing enrollment projections, student retention, and financial aid leveraging models.
