Job Duties

This position roles will also include research (e.g., experimental procedures, data analysis), and administration (IRB documentation, lab compliance and safety, etc.) Excellent writing and speaking skills as well as skills in supervising others to create and lead teams around projects. 

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned in the Senior Research Specialist job description.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

Ph.D with a focus training in basic and/or translational research

A minimum of 5 years related research experience.

Possess and applies advanced knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods.

Proficient in specific lab research techniques.

Institution Description

The Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation is seeking a Senior Research Specialist to assist a Principal Investigator with research activities. In this role the Senior Research Specialist will collaborate with the Principal Investigator to design and develop research projects and proposals, perform complex data collection, analyze and evaluate test and research results. The incumbent is expected to assist in the preparation of research findings for publications, papers, presentations, and grant submissions.
