Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is seeking applications for the position of Director of Assessment in the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment.  Reporting to the Senior Director of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment, the Director of Assessment will develop, facilitate, and implement assessment plans to support student learning, strategic planning, and institutional effectiveness.  The successful candidate will join a mission-driven community of exceptional students, faculty, and staff dedicated to providing the world’s best undergraduate science, engineering, and mathematics education in an environment of individual attention and support.

Responsibilities: Provides primary support for institutional assessment activities for institute, program, and faculty level initiatives by performing the following duties; Serve as a member of the Commission for the Assessment of Student Outcomes (CASO), and oversee the application and continuous improvement of the Institute Student Learning Outcomes; Oversee the administration of the Student Evaluation of Teaching and Learning instrument; Assist in development and implementation of assessment plans at the institute, program, or instructor level; Develop assessment instruments; Assist in the preparation of grant proposals; Implement standard/national assessment instruments; Analyze data and write reports; Plan and program activities that support assessment and evaluation on campus; Other duties may be assigned.
