Position Summary: Under general supervision of the Director of Assessment, Evaluation and Institutional Outcomes, the Coordinator works in the design and reporting of campus assessment initiatives and program review processes including:
• Training academic & administrative departments in Program Review and communicating assessment results.
• Provide technical and end-user support for all aspects of program review and assessment reporting.
• Support of office initiatives.

Position Details:
 Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Acts as a resource person for internal faculty, senior administration, staff and appropriate committees for assessment and program review.
  • Create and deliver specialized training and resources to support the academic and administrative program review processes.
  • Serve as a resource for faculty and staff in understanding the requirements, processes, and software used for evaluation in the program review.
  • Serve as a resource for faculty and staff in aligning academic and administrative program reviews with the college’s Strategic Plan.
  • Coordinate and support the work of the Program Review Committee and the Administrative Review Committee. a. Training is delivered to academic and administrative units that provides insight and greater maturity in the understanding and use of program review processes. b. Ongoing clear lines of support are provided for the Program Review Committee and the Administrative Review Committee, so timelines are met. c. Support is provided for software used for program review in both the academic and administrative units and includes keeping the software up-to-date and delivering appropriate guidance to the campus on its use.
  • Work with the Marketing & Communications Department to create and update content for workshops, conferences, internal communications, and digital presence. a. Maintain working relationship with the digital and creative & content departments to facilitate marketing needs. b. Ability to write/develop content for newsletters, annual report, blog entries, listservs and InfoHub. c. Ability to update internal blog and InfoHub pages. 
  • Works with the Director to provide customized institutional reports and communicates the results to constituents both orally and in writing. a. Ability to work within Excel, Strategic Planning Online, and other software to develop reports. b. Meet the needs of the end user to provide useful data. c. Ability to build tables and charts for reporting purposes.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, detail oriented
Ability to write well, learn new technology, work independently, demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for diverse populations
Experience teaching or in administration in a secondary or college setting

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of statistical analysis, survey research methodology, and computer utilization for data analysis.
Master’s degree
