Conditions of Employment
Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Institutional Research and Analytics, this position supports the reporting and analytics activities in the Office; Troubleshoots data in the ERP and census data files for data integrity and accuracy before data is submitted to the System Office and distributed to campus stakeholders; Provides data to campus stakeholders, the state, and federal agencies (state file reporting, IPEDS, US News, AAUP, Times Higher Education, NC-SARA...); Designs and conducts research and analytical studies on topics requested by campus stakeholders; Prepares and revises reports with accompanying tabular, graphic, statistical content, descriptions of analytical methods used, and narrative of findings and conclusions; Provides support for the development of analytical tools (e.g. dashboards) for distribution to stakeholders throughout the University; and performs other duties as required or deemed appropriate to the accomplishment of the responsibilities and functions of the Office of Institutional Research and Analytics.
Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and six years of related experience; or master's degree in appropriate area of specialization and four years of related experience.
Master's Degree in Data Analytics, Educational Research, or in a quantitative field;
Three years of experience in institutional research or a related area; and
PeopleSoft and SAS experience.
