Job Duties

• Analyze the University’s corporate and/or survey data in a wide range of domains
• Leverage comparative information to provide context to Notre Dame’s data
• Develop reports for the University community
• Maintain strong relationships with the University’s data stewards
• Use your analytical expertise to help University leaders succeed in pursuit of their goals

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical data practices
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Expertise in R, Python, SPSS, or another language for data management and analysis
  • Experience using Tableau or other BI/visualization tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Database management, especially the ability to identify appropriate data from multiple sources and multiple platforms and combine as necessary and appropriate

At the University of Notre Dame, the Office of Strategic Planning and Institutional Research (OSPIR) is hiring three positions on our Institutional Research team, looking for people with proven strengths in data management, quantitative analysis, and/or survey research methods. After onboarding into the role is complete, this position offers the opportunity for hybrid work from home 2 days/week in alignment with University policy.
