Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, statistics, or related discipline and two years of job-related experience required.  An equivalent combination of education and work will be considered.
• Familiarity with higher education structures/processes and data flow (admissions, enrollment, student affairs, accreditation, course management, etc.).
• Strong understanding about relational databases and SQL. Effectively utilize SQL querying in ERP and data warehouse environment. Preference given to candidates with Snowflake querying experience.
• Proficiency in processing large data set using advanced Excel features including functions, formulas and pivot table.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, particularly regarding data quality assurance, procedural documentation, and process improvement

• Experience in creating/maintaining /publishing dashboards using PowerBI, Tableau or other business intelligence tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly about understanding data demand and interpreting statistical analyses to audience with various backgrounds.
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills involving data and documentation.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to build cooperative working relationship throughout the university.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal compliance reporting requirements and standards for higher education.

• Ability to program using any of the following languages: R, Python, SAS.
• Ability to plan, create, program, and manage computer databases across multiple operating system platforms/environments.
