Job Duties
- Develop and implement evaluation plans for funded projects related to the healthcare workforce
- Develop and administer data collection instruments.
- Conduct and present data analysis findings.
- Provide technical assistance to partner organizations on data collection, management, and reporting.
- Prepare high-quality, professional reports and presentations for various audiences using data visualization techniques.
- Prepare and contribute statistical data and pertinent information for peer-reviewed publications, grants, and other documents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations by emphasizing high-quality customer service and effective communication.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in epidemiology, public health, statistics/biostatistics, or a related field
- A minimum of one year of related research experience.
- Knowledge of research concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience setting up and conducting evaluations for federal, state, and local grant projects using sound research methods.
- Advanced statistical knowledge and appropriate statistical software, including SAS, SPSS, R, and data management and visualization techniques.
- Ability to design, administer and analyze surveys, including online survey implementation.
- Qualities such as responsiveness, flexibility, and willingness to accommodate clients’ timelines and information needs are vital.
- Able to work independently and manage/prioritize multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
Institution Description
The University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford seeks applications for the full-time Research Associate II – Program Evaluation position within the National Center for Rural Health Professions (NCRHP). This position assists with research and evaluation, including developing research designs and evaluation protocols, data analysis, and disseminating results. This individual will work with community partners and clients to support ongoing funded research. This is an in-person position.
Candidates for this position must meet the minimum qualifications below:
