Position Summary

The Survey and Evaluation Manager is responsible for the various research activities conducted or reviewed by Effectiveness, Research & Analytics that involve active outreach and collection of new data, such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups. Additionally, this position leads the administration of the student course evaluation process.

To be successful, the Surveys and Evaluations Manager will be well-versed in survey and qualitative research methodologies with a critical lens for issues of the topics of equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Essential Functions

Responsibilities include managing course evaluations, developing and analyzing major college surveys, reviewing submitted surveys, conducting qualitative research, and creating educational materials on human subjects' research ethics.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or social sciences required, or equivalent experience.

• Two years of experience in survey development and analysis.

• Two years of experience in qualitative research with marginalized populations.

• Must have experience with Qualtrics and strong communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively with diverse groups.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in education or related social science field required.

• Experience with Tableau and participation in Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) preferred.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule

Salary range for the position is $70,915 - $102,848 per year, based on qualifications and experience. New hires typically start at $78,925 based on Bellevue College Exempt salary schedule. Generous benefitspackage for eligible employees is offered through Washington State plans. This is an exempt position, with a 40-hour workweek and no overtime pay.
