Position Overview
Under the direction of the Director of Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness, perform a variety of specialized activities involved in the research, collection, analysis, interpretation and reporting of data related to institutional planning, effectiveness, accreditation, student success, and other areas required by outside organizations and used by staff, faculty and administrators for projects and decision-making; utilize a computer to create, design and produce various ad-hoc and standardized reports.

Job Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
1. Any combination equivalent to: a Bachelor's degree in Social or Behavioral Science,
Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field; and
2. Two years' experience involving statistical research and analysis, including work with computer databases and software application; and
3. Demonstrated sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, abilities and learning styles of community college students and staff.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
• An understanding of and previous experience analyzing labor market and occupational trends including labor market supply and demand analysis.
• Previous experience working with faculty and administrators in a community college setting.
• Knowledge of and experience providing data support to career and technical education programs.

Salary Range: CSEA 124
Starting Salary Range: $36.58 to $40.33 per hour (Step 1 to 3). Normal entering
step is Step 1.
