Job Duties
The Data Analytics Developer & Coordinator of Assessment primary duties include:
· Coordinating with campus partners to distribute surveys, such as First Destination Survey;
· Analyzing data using basic SQL queries;
· Writing and publishing reports in conjunction with the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications;
· Developing assessments to determine effectiveness of programs;
· Updating monthly dashboard and;
· Serving as the expert of HandShake

About the Candidate
A bachelor’s degree is required for this position. We are seeking a candidate who:
· Has five to eight years of assessments, evaluations, and data analysis experience.
· Is proficient with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerBI.
· Demonstrates strong written and oral commutation skills.
· Is highly collaborative.
· Shows strong attention to detail.
· Is organized, flexible, and able to handle several tasks simultaneously while demonstrating excellent time management.
· Is comfortable taking initiative, working independently, and handling multiple simultaneous projects and assignments.
· Has project management experience/skills.
The following attributes are preferred, but not required for consideration:
· A master’s degree;
· Knowledge of career services within higher education and/or;
· Proficiency with HandShake and other career related software

This position leads and directs the annual First Destination Survey (https://www.bu.edu/careers/career-ready/outcomes/), conducts the 5 & 10 Year Out Alumni Survey; and creates and analyzes current programs and services. This position serves as the university’s expert on Handshake.
