Job Duties
Designs, builds, tests, and maintains the Datawarehouse; including reports and dashboards, for a variety of business use cases in SAP Business Objects and SAP Analytics Cloud platforms. Works closely with end users and Institutional Research and Effectiveness to gather requirements for reports; identifies and vets source application data for transfer to a data hub/Datawarehouse and subsequent analysis and at times assists with construction or execution of ETL/ELT processes. Identifies opportunities for process improvement in data collection, data analysis, business processes and enterprise engagement with reporting. Ensure proper configuration of production and non-production reporting and BI environments, coordinate and manage updates and patches to keep software platforms current, and provide ongoing production support. Monitor, investigate and troubleshoot data integrity and data quality between source systems (Colleague, CRM Advise, CRM Recruit, Blackboard, etc.) and ODS.
Job Qualifications
Four years of database, reporting, and systems experience. Solid understanding of Database, Data Warehousing, ETL concepts; experience working with and maintaining vendor relationships. Experience working with large databases, query languages, data warehouses, data visualization software and SQL server. Working knowledge of reporting tools, system administration, and report development with various systems e.g., Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud.
