Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Two (2) years of experience working in institutional research or assessment or related area
- Experience with college student information systems, including updating student and course/section records, executing queries, submitting job processes and extracting data
- Experience with data warehousing and report writing tools such as Argos, Cognos, or Crystal Reports
- Knowledge of research design and appropriate statistical methods of analysis
- Two (2) years of experience with data analysis, including cleaning/filtering datasets and using both descriptive and inferential techniques to summarize and analyze data
- Knowledge of survey design and methodology
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Experience with Banner student information system
- Experience with applications for statistical analysis (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and/or Argos, such as generating and executing queries and dashboards
- Experience submitting and correcting data in a complex statewide record-level data submission system, preferably SIRIS
- Experience work collaboratively in teams or groups; and
- Experience coordinating and prioritizing concurrent projects.
