2012 Charles F. Elton Best Paper Award Winners

AIR is pleased to announce that Gary R. Pike and Stephen R. Porter are the 2012 Charles F. Elton Best Paper Award Winners.  

This award celebrates the papers presented at the AIR Forum that most clearly exemplify the standards of excellence established by the award’s namesake and make significant contributions to the field of institutional research and decision-making in higher education.  

Twenty authors shared their papers for consideration; all submissions were peer-reviewed. Reviewers recommended that two papers be recognized because they are both deserving of the award:
