Higher Education Data Policy Committee: This Committee serves as a liaison, an advocacy, and an advisory group linking the Association with government and other agencies and the media which collect, analyze, disseminate, and use data on postsecondary institutions through:

• Identifying important issues related to the collection or use of higher education data and informing the Board of Directors and members about these;


• Taking action, with the concurrence of the Board of Directors, to provide the Association perspective about issues related to higher education data;


• Working to include Association members as appointees or advisors to governmental agencies, other associations, accrediting bodies, or the media that are designed and executing data collection projects.
