Job dutiesThe Director of Data Management for the School of Professional Advancement (SoPA), is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the integration of data management and analysis into all aspects of academic offerings, enrollment management and student services, and administrative and financial operations. As the school becomes increasingly focused on data utilization in supporting its students, faculty and staff, The Director will play a significant lead role in helping the school to do this work productively and efficiently.

-Highly proficient data extraction, analysis and management skills; ability to expertly extract and analyze data from large data sets/systems and generate meaningful, relevant, and easily understandable reports for specific audiences
-Excellent attention to detail; working knowledge of quality control processes and procedures; ability to identify and solve complex problems independently
-Ability to create reports and presentations across multiple data platforms and to develop creative and efficient solutions to gaps in data reporting
-Ability to strategically lead and contribute to development of the school overall data strategy and a significant expansion of internal capacity around data and report management in areas relevant to the school operations, including student advisement, enrollment management, fiscal management, and academic program quality
-Highly proficient computer skills, relational database, excel and spreadsheet management skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent project management and leadership skills; ability to effectively manage multiple assignment simultaneously
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree and six years of directly related experience in program data management and analysis, or High School Diploma/Equivalent and twelve years of directly related experience in program data management and analysis

Preferred Qualifications:
-Masters degree or PhD in a related field
-Experience working within higher education settings
