Job Duties
Madison College is seeking an experienced Manager, Analytics Infrastructure and Reporting to lead the College's enterprise analytics, reporting, and data integration environment.
This position brings together business intelligence, data integration, analytics, and cloud-based technologies with a strong focus on understanding institutional needs and delivering solutions that provide real value to the College.
Working collaboratively with college leadership and cross-functional partners, the Manager establishes analytics priorities and data standards, develops scalable and well-governed reporting solutions, and translates complex institutional data into meaningful insights that support strategic planning and evidence-based decision-making.
The Manager also oversees regulatory reporting, including IPEDS and WTCS reporting, and leads projects that impact the College's reporting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and develop staff while fostering accountability, professional growth, and an inclusive and supportive work environment.
- Provide leadership and oversight of enterprise analytics, reporting, and data integration solutions aligned with institutional strategy and executive needs.
- Partner with college leaders and departments to understand business needs and develop effective reporting and analytics solutions.
- Establish analytics priorities, data standards, and processes that support data quality, governance, and institutional decision-making.
- Lead multiple concurrent projects using the College's project management methodology.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, reporting, and system performance issues.
- Develop and support training and data literacy initiatives for employees, including one-on-one guidance and working sessions for report authors and new users.
- Oversee regulatory reporting processes, including IPEDS, WTCS, and other reporting requirements.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree OR an associate degree with equivalent additional relevant work experience
• Three or more years of relevant work experience
• Leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Azure-based enterprise analytics environments, such as Microsoft Fabric or Databricks
• Experience implementing BI data architecture and toolsets• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
• Experience with end-to-end reporting solutions, including data modeling, integration, ETL processes, report development, and BI dashboards
• Familiarity with the student academic journey as it relates to data
• Knowledge of IPEDS or WTCS reporting
