Reporting to the Vice President, this provides leadership in both the Office of Institutional Research and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. 

• Leadership — oversees state and federal reporting (IPEDS, SUDS), directs institutional research studies, manages office budgets, serves on the university's Performance Funding Taskforce, and participates in AIR, SAIR, and the SUS Council of Data Administrators.
• Data governance — chairs the Data Management working group, sits on the Data Governance Council, sets university-wide data standards and definitions, delivers data literacy training, and is primary contact for the statutorily required Performance Based Funding Data Integrity Audit.
• Compliance reporting — Florida Board of Governors, IPEDS, AAUP, NCAA, CUPA, and U.S. News; owns the full Faculty Activity Reporting process.
• Research and analysis — quantitative and qualitative studies, survey administration, policy analysis, and benchmarking.
• Data delivery — works with the ITS Business Intelligence team on the enterprise data warehouse, maintains dashboards, presents to administration, audits sensitive-data access.
• Institutional effectiveness — builds a culture of assessment and evidence-based decision-making.

Supervises the Director of Assessment, Assistant Director of IR, and up to five programmers/analysts, plus student and OPS staff.
