Valencia College is seeking a Director to join the Central Florida Education Ecosystem Database Research (IR) team. Representing the college as one of four academics partners to build and explore a student record shared database among Valencia College, Orange County Public Schools, School District of Osceola County (SDOC), and University of Central Florida (UCF) and apply analytics to identify insights into student progression across all educational levels.

The Director will provide leadership for the CFEED governance plan that includes a Steering Committee, Leadership Team, Communications Team, and Institutional Research Team. Manage the budget, hiring and supervision of personnel, implement activities, communicate, and evaluate support for outcomes that lead to meeting CFEED objectives. The position requires collaborative leadership to ensure that CFEED expectations are met for the partners and Helios Education Foundation.
This position is a three year grant project that will be sustained after grant approval.

Qualifications1. Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution [required]. Master's degree preferred.

2. Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale technology projects working with system integrators such as Accenture.
3. Knowledge of database development, data integrity and validation methods.

4. Ability to conduct demonstrated data analysis and reporting.

5. Project Management Institute (PMI) – PMP Certification preferred.

6. Minimum seven years of experience in project management reporting and analytics.

7. Prior grant experience preferred.

8. Teaching and/or administrative experience in Higher Ed and or K-12.

9. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills required.

10. A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

7. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively to address and resolve situations that may arise.

8. Ability to maintain confidentiality of work related information and materials.

Salary rangeDependent on qualifications and experience
Salary benefitsSalary Range: $65,857 - $76,558 per year
