Penn State Student Affairs Research and Assessment is seeking two full-time Data Analysts.Both will report to the Director of Student Affairs Research and Assessment and will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on data for a broad range of assessment and evaluation efforts supporting Student Affairs programming and services.While the analysts will work on a breadth of projects, one analyst will be focused primarily on career outcomes and Career Services and the other will devote approximately half of his/her time to Residence Life assessment efforts.Analysts will provide expertise that informs assessment plans and strategic plans for specific units as well as Student Affairs more broadly. Analysts will also fulfill data requests using a variety of data sources available throughout the University and be able to make meaningful connections within the data to answer questions about the student experience.Other work may include qualitative assessment efforts (focus groups, interviews) and serving on appropriate committees. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A master's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience are preferred.Effective presentation and writing skills, knowledge of statistical analysis, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment are also preferred.
