2023 AIR Forum

2023 AIR Forum

May 30 – June 2 | Cleveland, OH

With Lake Erie in its front yard, downtown Cleveland offered a picturesque setting for enjoying the history, innovation, and attractions that make this destination a conference favorite. A convention center campus and host hotels in the center of a vibrant downtown scene provided the perfect backdrop for AIR Forum attendees to gather and learn, connect, and share.

Finding Confidence in Conflict: Practical Tools for Difficult Conversations

Kwame Christian, Esq., M.A., CEO & Founder of American Negotiation Institute

As a top negotiation attorney, trainer, coach, and best-selling author, Kwame Christian guides individuals from all professions to a deeper understanding of the emotions and psychology behind a conflict and helps them gain control over their emotions, build trust with colleagues and supervisors, and create an atmosphere that encourages healthy, honest communication. Kwame offered practical tools for AIR Forum attendees to better handle difficult conversations—including the use of the “Compassionate Curiosity Framework” and the skills needed to have more confident and equitable conversations about sensitive DEI topics.

Bonus!

As the opening keynote speaker of the 2023 AIR Forum, Kwame offered practical tools to better handle difficult conversations. During the Q&A portion of the session, attendees asked Kwame over 80 questions, most of which he did not have time to answer. So, Kwame invited AIR's Executive Director & CEO, Christine Keller, onto his podcast for a continuation of the constructive conversation that started at the 2023 AIR Forum. Check it out!
