This in-person workshop equips participants to move beyond compliance reporting and use IPEDS data to assess and improve student and institutional success. Participants examine the five IPEDS surveys that contain academic performance metrics—Completions, Graduation Rates, 200% Graduation Rates, Fall Enrollment, and Outcome Measures.

Through a mix of lectures, discussions, and hands-on case studies, you’ll learn what IPEDS data can (and cannot) reveal and practice applying metrics to real-world institutional questions. This workshop is ideal for IR professionals, data analysts, and higher education administrators seeking to build stronger analysis and storytelling skills using IPEDS data.
