IPEDS Keyholder Efficiencies is a mentor-supported, fully online course designed for individuals with 10–24 months of IPEDS Keyholder experience. You build upon foundational knowledge by exploring advanced practices such as cleaning data files, reducing the burden of IPEDS reporting, process management, leveraging institutional IPEDS data, and creating benchmarking reports.

This course is ideal for official IPEDS Keyholders or proxy Keyholders assisting in the submission process. Participants study approximately 10–12 hours over one month at their own pace with mentor support.

Note: Participants may enroll in only one keyholder course at a time. If you have fewer than nine months of experience, we recommend starting with AIR’s IPEDS Keyholder Essentials course.
