IPEDS Keyholder Essentials: A Beginner’s Guide
IPEDS Keyholder Essentials is a mentor-supported, fully online course created for individuals with fewer than nine months of experience as an IPEDS Keyholder. Participants explore the full IPEDS data cycle—including key concepts, reporting requirements, and best practices—while learning to navigate internal coordination and ensure compliant, accurate submissions.
This self-paced course requires approximately 10–12 hours of study over a one-month period and offers personalized support from an experienced IPEDS mentor. It is ideal for newly appointed Keyholders, IR professionals, or staff supporting federal reporting.
Note: Participants may enroll in only one AIR IPEDS course at a time.
