The Art and Science of Managing an IR Office
Overview
Time Commitment: 4 weeks | Cost: $525/$625 (member/nonmember)
IR/IE directors and other management staff typically move up from within the field, with few formal or structured opportunities to learn what it means to be a manager and how to do it well. This four-session virtual course blends lecture, discussion, and group exercises built around developing management mindsets, working with and directing others, and stewarding resources such as finances and staff time to help you shift from individual contributor to successful manager. We will explore management styles to help you reflect on your strengths and challenges and offer tools to help you develop your management skills. Whether you are a new manager, a current manager, or thinking about a future management role, there is something in this course for you.
