Share Your Experience: National Study on ACTS Implementation Now Open
AIR, in partnership with the Urban Institute, invites Institutional Research and Effectiveness professionals to participate in a national study examining how colleges and universities are responding to the Admissions Consumer and Transparency Supplement (ACTS) data collection.
Over the past several months, institutions have navigated significant operational, technical, and policy challenges related to ACTS—often under compressed timelines and evolving guidance. This study seeks to better understand those experiences, including implementation challenges, resource demands, data availability, and how institutions are interpreting reporting requirements. It will also explore the broader impact of ACTS on institutional research and reporting functions.
Findings from this study will help elevate institutional experiences and practitioner voices, inform future advocacy and policy conversations, and identify opportunities to improve reporting processes moving forward.
The survey is open from May 19 through June 19 and is expected to take approximately 15–20 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous unless respondents choose to identify themselves or their institution.
Multiple responses from the same institution are appropriate and can help provide a more complete picture of institutional experiences.
