Job Duties

The Institutional Research Analyst 3 is a senior-level role within the Institutional Research (IR) team, reporting directly to the Director of Institutional Research. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the University’s data infrastructure, compliance reporting, and decision-making capabilities. This position serves as the technical lead for survey automation This role demands extensive experience managing institutional surveys and reports (e.g., IPEDS, NCAA, Fact Book, etc.), advanced technical skills in SQL and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau), and a strong understanding of higher education reporting requirements. As a key contributor to the IR team, this role provides data-driven insights aligned with the University’s Strategic Roadmap and key performance indicators. The Institutional Research Analyst 3 role requires intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a collaborative approach to continuous process improvement.

Job Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Economics or other social science discipline required (Doctoral degree preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience; minimum 6 years of experience in Institutional Research, Higher Education Analytics, or a closely related field. Demonstrated experience leading large-scale research and data initiatives. Prior supervisory or mentorship experience preferred. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
