Job Duties

Specific Duties
  • Collect, clean, process, analyze, and interpret institutional data as well as design and administer surveys and present findings related to student enrollment, retention, graduation, faculty, academic programs, and other key performance indicators.

  • Prepare reports for internal use and external reporting to federal and state agencies (e.g., IPEDS), accrediting bodies, and consortia.

  • Support ad hoc data requests and projects from senior leadership and university committees.

  • Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and reports to support institutional planning and decision-making.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R) | 2 years
  • Experience with querying relational databases using SQL | 1 year
  • Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences, statistics, economics, or other related field
  • Knowledge of statistics, research methodology, data analysis
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in the social sciences, economics, statistics, or other related field
  • Experience with higher education data systems (e.g., Banner).
  • Familiarity with federal and state reporting requirements (e.g., IPEDS, HEDS, NCES).
  • Knowledge of assessment and accreditation processes in higher education.
