Academic Assessment Manager

Job Duties
1. QEP Assessment: Manage assessment efforts for the QEP, a component of Georgia Tech's accreditation through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) (more information may be found at https://provost.gatech.edu/quality-enhancement-plan)
a. Along with the Assistant Provost for Academic Effectiveness, meet periodically with the leadership of the QEP to ensure alignment of QEP assessment with other assessment and accreditation efforts across campus.
b. Collaborate closely with the QEP Director, faculty, and staff to plan and implement QEP assessment and SACSCOC reporting.
2. Initiate and oversee data collection for purposes of measuring the QEP Outcomes:
a. Collaborate with QEP leadership and faculty.
b. Collaborate with faculty and staff to implement assessment processes and good practices
c. Assist with organizing, outlining, and writing assessment reports and the SACSCOC report.
d. Serve on appropriate Institute committees related to the QEP and academic assessment.
3. Academic Assessment
Assist with additional projects, efforts, or requests related to academic assessment as assigned by the Associate Provost.

Minimum Qualifications
Academic Professional
- Terminal degree from a research-intensive university.
- Significant related experience or promotion from the rank of Associate Academic Professional.
- Quality of performance and potential for development must be recognized by peers.
Senior Academic Professional
- Terminal degree from a research-intensive university.
- Evidence of superior performance in the chosen field.
- Recognition by peers (national, regional, or local).
- Successful and measurable related experience.
- Five (5) years or more as an Academic Professional (or equivalent rank).
