Job Duties

• Report to the Dean of Planning, Institutional Effectiveness, and Research (PIER).
• Collaborate with the PIER team to develop frameworks for institutional transformation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the College’s strategic plan.
• Oversee institutional effectiveness planning across academic and service units.
• Provide training and support for departmental assessment efforts.
• Guide creation of assessment plans with faculty, staff, and student services.
• Manage technical aspects of assessment, including database design, data collection, and analysis.
• Serve as lead user and trainer for Nuventive assessment software.
• Analyze core curriculum data and support the General Education Assessment Committee.
• Facilitate workshops and professional development focused on assessment.
• Promote best practices and continuous improvement in assessment across the institution.
• Partner with Planning, Institutional Research, and Effectiveness to integrate assessment data.
• Review program and unit-level assessment reports and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain and update Nuventive dashboards for strategic and sub-plans.
• Serve on institutional committees as appointed.
• Adhere to structured work schedules and college policies.
• Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Complete required training and professional development.
• May work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, IT, Psychology, or related field.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in institutional planning, effectiveness, or assessment in higher education.
• Proven expertise in strategic planning, assessment development, data analysis, and accreditation reporting.
• Strong understanding of academic and student support operations.
• Proficiency in accreditation standards and assessment methodologies.
• Experience with assessment management systems (e.g., Nuventive).
• Excellent administrative, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and foster collaborative relationships.
• Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, email platforms, databases, and internet research tools.
