                Job Duties
• Leads the data request process by managing and tracking ad hoc and recurring requests.
• Collaborates across the institution to clarify objectives, extract and verify data, and ensure analyses meet needs accurately and on time.
• Leads efforts to standardize and document data history, SQL queries, extraction procedures, and reporting processes in the SOP manual.
• Supports a data-informed culture by serving on committees, facilitating trainings, and educating departments on data access and use.
• Prepares recurring and ad hoc reports to support operations and strategic planning.
• Ensures reports are timely, accurate, and appropriately formatted per guidance from the Director, Institutional Research and Reporting.
• Develops dashboards and Argos reports to replace manual reports and trains faculty and staff in their use.
• Plans, manages, and administers national and internal survey projects (e.g., CCSSE, SENSE, Ruffalo Noel-Levitz). Provides analysis, interpretation, and reporting with guidance from the Associate Vice President or Director.
• Collaborates to identify data needed for setting priorities, decision-making, and management objectives.
• Collects and maintains SQL scripts, baseline data, and documentation for internal and external reporting (e.g., Board Reports, Presidential Goals, State, Federal, Accreditation). Develops and maintains Argos Reports and Power BI dashboards to support these needs.
• Supports program review by providing and warehousing related data and reports.
• Extracts, manipulates, and analyzes data using statistical methods aligned with the College’s strategic objectives.
• Engages in training and maintains awareness of state, federal, and accreditation reporting requirements (e.g., FETPIP, IPEDS, SACSCOC, ACEN).
• Develops and distributes a monthly reporting calendar with due dates and responsible departments for all reporting obligations. Implements the institutional reporting system for State and Federal requirements.
• Coordinates reporting processes across departments to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Compiles data and completes reports covering students, faculty, programs, assessment, and demographics to meet institutional and external requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and three or more years of related data experience, or equivalent education and experience. Higher education experience preferred.
Math Ability: Ability to apply statistical and mathematical concepts, compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret graphs.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of reporting, query, database, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Expertise in SQL and reporting tools such as Argos required; experience with Banner and Power BI preferred.
