Job Duties
You will streamline and automate reporting processes, develop and maintain self-service tools like the university factbook, and ensure data consistency and accuracy for both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative team spirit and commitment to excellence in service. Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, social science, or related field.
- Proven experience managing and using relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PeopleSoft Query, etc.
- Expertise in R, Python, SPSS or similar.
- Expertise data visualization such as Power BI or Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters preferred in analytics, statistics, social science, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience; three to five years in institutional research reporting and data analysis.
- Superior analytical, research, and oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate complex data and analytics to varied audiences including senior leadership, faculty, internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with data governance strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state reporting requirements and compliance obligations in higher education.
- Ability to effectively manage complex projects and deadlines independently.
