Institutional Effectiveness Coordinator

Job Duties

  • Coordinate cross-institutional workflows for compliance and institutional effectiveness initiatives spanning four colleges and multiple programs, supporting the timely execution of tasks and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.

  • Assist in the management of surveys and data collection tools as well as accreditation, compliance, risk management, and other institutional effectiveness activities, including maintenance of regulatory calendars, document repositories, data logs, and reporting timelines.

  • Provide logistical support for data collection initiatives, survey distributions, and follow-up efforts for institutional research and continuous improvement projects.

  • Prepare and organize materials for accreditation site visits, audits, and compliance reviews, ensuring completeness and readiness in collaboration with various stakeholder groups.

  • Contribute to regular review and maintenance of public-facing consumer information, such as accreditation status, required disclosures, and institutional data on college websites.

  • Monitor and maintain reporting tools and logs for Title IX and Clery Act compliance, applying sound judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate documentation, confidentiality, and alignment with regulatory requirements.

  • Assist with the implementation and routine management of applications related to institutional effectiveness (e.g., Qualtrics, Compliance360, Symplr).

  • Provide administrative support to the Directors of Governance and Compliance, the Director of Institutional Effectiveness, and the Senior Institutional Research Analyst, including document preparation, data management, and audit support.

Job Qualifications

Education

Associate Degree in Education, Health Administration, Business, or related field (required)

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Health Administration, Business, or related field (preferred)

Work Experience

1 year; Higher Education, Institutional Research, Compliance, or Administrative Coordination

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic familiarity with data entry and reporting tools.

Experience preparing materials for audits, accreditors, or site visits, including document collection and presentation.

Knowledge of survey tools or basic data analysis platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Microsoft Forms, Google Forms, etc.).

Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and accurately.

Prior administrative or coordination experience in an educational or healthcare setting.

Institution Description

The Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Coordinator supports the work of institutional effectiveness, compliance and governance in maintaining institutional accreditation, regulatory compliance, and effective data management across the Bon Secours Mercy Health Higher Education Institutions (BHEI). This position provides critical administrative, logistical, and coordination support to ensure (1) compliance, regulatory, and assessment deadlines are met; (2) data are accurate, organized, and properly stored; and (3) all associated processes run efficiently.

The BHEI are owned by Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH), which is a catholic health system headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. The BHEI are made up of the Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing, the Bon Secours St. Mary's School of Medical Imaging, the Bon Secours Southside College of Health Sciences, and Mercy College of Ohio.
