Job Duties
The Data Analytics Specialist provides reporting, statistical analysis and visualizations that support strategic planning, student success tracking, enrollment management, accreditation, and federal and state compliance.
This position conducts robust statistical analysis using advanced techniques for data modeling, predictive analytics, and cluster analysis. The Data Analytics Specialist leads efforts in reporting and analyzing data from National Student Clearinghouse and other datasets to inform decisions pertaining to student success metrics. This position publishes data visualizations related to student retention, graduation, persistence, and achievement. This position also provides reports related to student credit hour production for academic colleges and departments. The Specialist is expected to serves on committees related to student success as needed, and provide training and education to improve organizational data literacy and use of data.

Job Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline) with a minimum of two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. All degrees must be from appropriately accredited universities and colleges. |
