Job Duties
Reporting to associate provost of institutional research and chief data officer in the office of Data, Assessment, and Institutional Research (DAIR) , the Director works closely with leaders in the Academic Affairs and Innovation (VPAAI) division and partners with faculty, academic units, and administrative offices (e.g., Division of Academic Success and Student Affairs-DASSA) and to strengthen a culture that utilizes evidence-based assessment to drive decision-making and continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and academic quality.
Job Qualifications
What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and ten years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in education, social sciences, or a related field
- Doctoral degree.
- Demonstrated experience in higher education assessment, program review, and/or accreditation.
- Strong knowledge of assessment of student learning outcomes and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience working collaboratively with faculty and academic leadership.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Teaching and research experiences
- Experience at a large, complex, or research-intensive university.
- Familiarity with regional and specialized accreditation standards.
- Experience with assessment management systems, databases, and data visualization tools.
