Survey and Reporting Manager

Job Duties
- Serve as the Qualtrics Brand Administrator, managing enterprise survey settings, security, templates, and user support.
- Provide expert consultation on survey methodology, design, administration, analysis, and reporting for faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Lead the centralized administration of Student Course Surveys, including scheduling, data integrity, and reporting.
- Serve as the IPEDS keyholder, working in partnership with the UNC System’s data unit to submit required IPEDS data.
- Coordinate and submit external reports and benchmarking surveys, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with federal, state, system‑level, and accreditation requirements.
- Integrate and analyze data from multiple institutional systems (e.g., Banner, Qualtrics) to support institutional effectiveness, program review, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Social Sciences, Educational Research, Data Science, Information Systems), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in institutional research, survey administration, data analysis, or a closely related field, preferably in higher education.
- Demonstrated knowledge of survey design, data governance, and confidentiality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field with coursework in quantitative research methods or statistics.
- Experience as a Qualtrics Brand Administrator or advanced enterprise user.
- Experience coordinating IPEDS reporting and/or recurring external or benchmarking surveys.
- Proficiency with relational databases and analytical or visualization tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, Tableau, Power BI).
