Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of organizational assessment processes that use data to improve institutional performance and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate the College's Continuous Improvement Model, supporting divisions in developing goals, action plans, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Guide departments in collecting, analyzing, and applying data to inform decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Chair the Institutional Accreditation Committee and oversee all accreditation activities, including compliance, reporting, evidence collection, monitoring, and substantive change requests.
  • Ensure alignment between accreditation requirements, assessment activities, strategic planning, and institutional priorities.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, scorecards, and data visualizations to communicate organizational performance and support leadership decision-making.
  • Translate assessment findings into actionable recommendations that inform planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Design and deliver professional development on assessment, accreditation, continuous improvement, and performance measurement.
  • Provide consultation and coaching to faculty, staff, and administrators while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Serve as administrator for organizational assessment systems, including Watermark, and manage reporting cycles, documentation, templates, and evidence repositories.
  • Monitor emerging trends and best practices in assessment, accreditation, and higher education while supporting strategic initiatives within the Center for Strategic Innovation and Foresight.
  • Participate on institutional committees, engage with professional organizations, and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in higher education, educational leadership, public administration, assessment, organizational development, institutional effectiveness, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in assessment, accreditation, institutional effectiveness, strategic planning, institutional research, or related higher education functions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading assessment, continuous improvement, accreditation, or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Experience facilitating collaboration and working effectively with leaders, faculty, and staff across multiple organizational units.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.

Institution Description

Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Foresight and Decision Support Officer (CFDSO), the Director of Organizational Assessment and Accreditation leads the College's organizational assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement efforts. The position develops and manages systems that support evidence-informed decision-making, institutional effectiveness, and strategic planning while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and organizational learning.

Working collaboratively across the College, the Director coordinates institutional accreditation, oversees the Continuous Improvement Model (CIM), and integrates assessment, planning, and performance data to strengthen organizational effectiveness and future readiness. The Director also partners with the CFDSO to align assessment, planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives with institutional priorities.
