This tutorial introduces participants to the Gateway Course Completion dashboard available in the Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) platform. Users will learn how to analyze the rates at which first-year students complete required Math and/or English gateway courses—critical early indicators of credential completion. The course covers how institutions define gateway courses, how completion rates are calculated, and how to use filters such as Gateway Status and Gateway Grade to disaggregate data for deeper insights into student achievement and equity gaps.
