IPEDS Human Resources Training

This workshop equips institutional research, human resources, and administrative professionals to successfully complete the IPEDS Human Resources (HR) survey. Participants explore key topics including data definitions, employee classification, aligning job functions to Bureau of Labor Statistics Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) codes, and strengthening collaboration across institutional offices. The session emphasizes both technical accuracy and broader planning for HR data use beyond IPEDS reporting.

Through hands-on exercises, you’ll practice classifying employees, preparing data for submission, and benchmarking with common HR metrics. Ideal for IPEDS Keyholders, IR staff, HR professionals, and others who work with employee data.
