Job dutiesDevelop, analyze and maintain institutional dimensional and performance related data required to support strategic planning and policy making and to respond to various internal and external inquiries. Prepare reports and statistical analyses and maintain databases as assigned to facilitate University statistical data management and reporting. The position is responsible for extracting, analyzing, modeling, and reporting data from both institutional and external data bases
QualificationsRequired: Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience
- Master's degree in related discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years demonstrated and increasingly responsible work experience in an institutional research, institutional effectiveness, or enrollment management office.
- This job requires working knowledge of integrated information systems and reporting practices, as well as the ability to extract data from large databases using basic query language. Included are skills in data organization and statistical analysis and advanced skills in Excel, and a statistics package like SAS, R, or Python.
- Experience using statistical software applications such as SAS. Previous experience in a higher education institution preferred. Experience with Ellucian's Banner Student Information System.
