Job dutiesThis position serves the University by providing dynamic data reporting and analysis services in respect to all areas of Enrollment Management, which includes Admissions, Transfer Services, Registrar, Financial Aid, Veterans Services, University Scholarships, and College Access Programs. Related areas with which this position will collaborate include the Graduate School and Distance Education. This position reports to the Director of Strategic Analytics and Institutional Research, but will have a very close working relationship with the Associate Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management to support these efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Provide dynamic data reporting and analysis services with a focus on areas of enrollment management, from pre-enrollment (recruiting) through degree completion
● Produce descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive reports on areas such as data-driven services, business-process improvement and ROI, academic cost and efficiency, academic program performance, enrollment capacity and growth, student recruitment and marketplace studies, student retention and graduation outcomes, and financial aid optimization
● Interpret results and provide ongoing recommendations for recruiting efforts, advising the annual enrollment planning and goal-setting process
● Give presentations about University data to various committees and entities
● Work collaboratively with units that report within, and are related to, enrollment management, as well as external constituencies
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
● Master’s Degree in higher education, public administration, social science, statistics, or related field of study
● 3-5 years of experience in institutional research or enrollment management in an analyst capacity
● Knowledge of, and appreciation for, all facets of enrollment management in institutions of higher education
● Experience with statistical/analytical/BI reporting applications, including Excel, SAS, JMP, SPSS, Rapid Insight, Tableau
● Expertise with qualitative and quantitative methods of research and analysis
● Excellent communication and presentation skills
● Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff, administrators, and students
● Ability to operate with a high level of independence, routinely making critical decisions and exercising sound judgment

Preferred Qualifications
● Doctorate degree and quantitative research background
● Demonstrated proficiency in retrieving data from Student Data Management Systems (e.g., Banner or PeopleSoft) or similar data systems using SQL or other ODBC applications
● Experience with predictive modeling software specific to student enrollment
● Experience with enterprise analytics applications such as OBIEE, Blackboard Analytics, Tableau, or other statistical/analytics reporting systems
Salary range$60,000 - $80,000
Salary benefitsSalary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This is a full-time, 12-month position.
