Job dutiesTusculum seeks an individual with experience collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting institutional data to serve as its next Director of Institutional Research. Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Director is responsible for providing timely data to external agencies, including IPEDS, NCAA, SACSCOC, TICUA, NSLDS, and the National Student Clearinghouse. The Director also has primary responsibility for administering institution-wide and program-specific student assessment instruments, including NSSE, CIRP, and the Ruffalo Noel Levitz SSI. The Director works regularly with data-centric offices, including Institutional Effectiveness, the Registrar, Enrollment Management, Information Technology, and Financial Aid, to ensure that senior administrators can make data-driven decisions about institutional strategy and policy.

Qualifications• Earned master’s degree required, preferably in a quantitative-focused research field; doctoral degree preferred.
• Previous experience with institutional data systems and demonstrated ability to extract data from student information systems (CRMs, ERPs) required; experience with EMAS Pro and Ellucian Colleague preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with survey development, administration, and analysis.
• Excellent computer skills and high proficiency with standard office applications, databases, SPSS, and SQL.
