Job Duties
Maintain institutional databases and ensure data integrity across systems
Develop internal reports and dashboards to inform leadership on enrollment, retention, graduation rates, and other KPIs
Respond to data and research requests from executive leadership, faculty, and administrative offices
Coordinate data collection and submission for government agencies and accreditors (e.g., IPEDS, HLC, NCAA, MICU)
Manage data reporting for external organizations (e.g., College Board, U.S. News & World Report, Chronicle Great Colleges to Work For Survey, AAUP Faculty Salary Survey)
Design, administer, and analyze campus-wide surveys (e.g., NSSE, CIRP)
Provide clear interpretation and presentation of survey results to stakeholders
Collaborate with senior leadership to provide data-driven insights for strategic planning and policy development
Support program evaluation and annual assessment reporting
Provide data and analysis support for accreditation efforts, including preparation for HLC reviews
Collect and review assessment materials, including Capstone Reports and Annual Program Reviews
Partner with Information Technology Services, Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs, and other offices to ensure cohesive data strategies.
Promote data literacy through workshops and consultation for faculty and staff
Serve as School Certifying Officer for Veterans Affairs, including required training and student support responsibilities
Assist with key institutional events such as Commencement and Convocation
Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience in institutional research or related field in higher education
Experience with IPEDS and external reporting systems
Proficiency in survey design, administration, and analysis
Familiarity with accreditation processes, preferably through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
Strong knowledge of data management and institutional assessment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with student information systems (e.g., Blackbaud, Banner, or Datatel)
Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple projects
Collaborative mindset and professionalism in working with faculty and administrators
General knowledge of Adrian College academic policies and procedures
