Job Duties

The Executive Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness provides leadership in data-informed decision-making, strategic planning support, assessment, and accreditation compliance to advance the mission and goals of Paris Junior College. This role promotes a culture of continuous improvement and institutional excellence.

Job Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a Master's degree in educational research, institutional effectiveness, data analytics, higher education or related field.  Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in institutional research or planning in higher education.  Demonstrated experience with data tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SPSS, SAS, SQL, or similar.  Experience with accreditation processes, strategic planning, and institutional assessment.  Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.  Demonstrated leadership in data-informed decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.  Knowledge of national higher education trends, performance-based funding, and accountability standards.  Demonstrated experience managing data governance, strategic planning, or accreditation efforts (SACSCOC experience preferred).  Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement through technology and data.

This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee. Additional optional coverages include dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas or Optional Retirement Program, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program.  Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
