"I enthusiastically volunteer with AIR whenever possible as a way to maintain my connection with the field and to stay in touch with new issues, trends, and practices. The only way to stay actively engaged in a field of practice is to remain immersed in it and volunteering has helped me stay grounded in my IR roots."
—Felice Billups, Johnson & Wales University-Providence
“I’ve met a lot of other IR professionals from across the country, with different levels of experience and different expertise. It’s been helpful for learning about the profession and building my professional network."
—Steve Graunke, Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis
