Faculty use the university’s online course delivery system and must be available for online interactions and/or alternate time frames for teaching. Faculty members teach, advise students, conduct research, assess student learning and engage in service activities.

Job duties50% ESURC & Benchmarking:
•In partnership with the Educational Support Unit Review Committee (ESURC), manage the benchmarking process for educational support units at UW-Stout, including working with the units to identify the scope of the review, partnering with other colleges and universities to collect the benchmarking information, analyzing the data and providing a report of strengths and opportunities for improvement.
•With review team and units, identify meaningful benchmarks for review.
•Direct the process for evaluating educational support units (i.e. ESURC), including overseeing and coordinating the data collection processes, serving as a liaison between ESURC and the units undergoing review, assignment of committee members to reviews, and managing committee membership.
•Ensure that accurate data collection and reporting are submitted in a timely manner for all ESURC activities.
•Establish and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external stakeholders necessary to achieve shared goals, advance continuous improvement, and disseminate findings internally and externally.
•Manage the data collection process for the Delaware study.
•Document and record review processes for longitudinal evaluation and improvements.
•Develop and maintain schedule for ESURC final reports and updates to departmental websites.
•Direct and coordinate a data and information exchange partnership.Expand the program to include benchmarking for four-year colleges and universities throughout the United States.

50% Strategic Enrollment Management Analyst:

Provide data analysis that will lead to actions that can be initiated by the ERM office, Strategic Planning Group, and campus-wide to meet enrollment and retention targets. This support is of particular importance during a time when retention rates and high school graduation numbers are also declining. Specific duties include the following:
•In support of the AACRAO recommendations, provide complex data analysis, including statistical analysis, to support retention studies, including modeling, regression studies, and creating databases to better understand opportunities for enrollment growth and increasing student retention.
•Provide statistical data and information to help close the achievement gap in retention and graduation rates for underrepresented students.
•Submit requests to Student Tracker to obtain information on where students who chose not to enroll or persist at UW-Stout transfer to.
•Work with PARQ and LIT to create queries that can be used within ERM and by deans and directors to provide just-in-time retention and enrollment data that will allow for early interventions.This would include using predictive models and statistical analysis to better inform these interventions as well.
QualificationsMinimum / Required
•Master’s Degree in applied research, evaluation, statistics, social sciences or related field -or- Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience
•At least 2 years of experience with quantitative analysis, including statistics
•At least 2 years of experience with qualitative data analysis
•Excellent organizational skills and communication skills
•At least 1 year of experience with online survey software products

•Data warehousing experience
•Benchmarking experience
•Experience with Tableau
•Experience with predictive software such as RapidInsight or Altryex
