Job dutiesThe Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness at Louisiana Tech University is responsible for coordinating internal and external reporting for the University and University-wide student assessments using external instruments. The Director works with a wide range of units to provide regular and ad hoc data and analysis. The Director will coordinate, summarize, and report on institutional effectiveness initiatives for academic and non-academic units.
QualificationsQualified candidates will have a master’s degree in higher education, data analytics, statistics, the social sciences, or a related field, and a minimum of five years of experience in Institutional Research. Applicants must possess excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office, databases, and SPSS. Candidates must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of research methods and advanced statistical analysis techniques, as well as statistical analysis software; demonstrate excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills; have highly developed organizational skills; and have experience in prioritizing multiple and varied projects and initiatives. Experience with the development of appropriate outcome measures and benchmarking tools is preferred.
Salary range$60,000 - $80,000
