Job dutiesPerform research and statistical analysis on institutional data to support decision making.
Develop reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
Create data visualizations and create and manage key performance indicators dashboard.
Conduct review of data to ensure integrity.
Coordinate the reporting of data to state and federal agencies and serve as IPEDS key holder.
Submit databases to Florida Department of Education.
Coordinate grant-related data submission and reporting to funding agencies.
Administer annual college-wide surveys, analyze results, and prepare reports.
Support strategic planning, assessment, and unit effectiveness work conducted throughout the College.
Maintain the office’s webpage.
Serve on membership councils, committees, and project teams as appropriate.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, social sciences, management information systems or related field required.
Minimum of three to five years’ experience required.
Strong statistical analysis skills required.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral required.
Experience in survey research.
Demonstrated experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access required.
Experience with Power BI (or similar visualization software) preferred.
Experience using Cognos, Banner, and/or Blackboard Analytics preferred.
Demonstrated experience in major statistical packages such as SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SPSS, Stata, or R preferred.
Demonstrated experience in SQL programming and using SQL to query and summarize data required.
Experience with relational database platforms and experience of building, cleaning and analyzing large datasets required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative setting.
High level of self-motivation, ability to work independently, and a willingness to learn new skills.
Salary rangeDependent on qualifications and experience
Salary benefits$55,000.00 - $72,500.00
